2014-2015

11 May 2015 to 16 May 2015: UofT Faculty (Jill Caskey, Adam Cohen) and PIMS Researcher (Linda Safran) visit GAFA.

14 May 2015, 7 pm: Prof. Jill Caskey spoke in the Distinguished International Art Historians lecture series, GAFA, on the topic "Reforming the Wondrous: Materiality and Authority at St. Nicola, Bari, ca. 1300." 

20 September 2015 to 26 September: GAFA Faculty (Yudong Wang, Qingquan Zou) to visit UofT.

Prof. Giancarla Periti teaches "Perspectives on the Italian Renaissance" (including the reception of Byzantine art) 
Prof. Jennifer Purtle teaches "Methods in Art History"
Profs. Qingquan Li and Qingquan Zou teach "Making Pictures in Medieval China" (synchronized seminar) 

At UofT:
Prof. Yudong Wang teaches "Making Pictures in Medieval China" (synchronized seminar)

GAFA and UofT students and faculty go to Sicily for "Multicultural Arts of Medieval Sicily" field trip. All student travel and lodging expenses will be covered by the Connecting Art Histories grant.
